Fortunately, all the options outlined in this thread would be doable because JD did design the tractor with easy access to both sides of the hub. I could have easily run another bolt through - although I would not have liked the appearance from a cosmetic standpoint. I could have cleaned out or redone the threads easily. However, since I always go for the very easiest way, I just bought an extra bolt and ran it in from the back. That cleared out the threads at the front enough to pull a bolt in in regular fashion. Since some good threads were left and it took full torque, if figured it was good. I do know now to check those bolts more frequently so this won't be an issue again.
