Tiller "DARK HORSE" Tillers

Well I Bought a 5 ft. one yesterday and hooked it up this morn and I like it.The only thing I didn't care for we haven't had much rain so it was packed with dust.Ran good.I did a little checking yesterday.The wt.d h is 20 lbs less than the kk.everything is enter changable.The dist. didn't know the manufacture ,Some Chinese co.But after my first day I like it.And the price was 800 compared tp 1279.00

The ground work is well underway at the Augusta site, just drove by it 1/2 hour ago.
I'm headed to Skowhegan tomorrow, I'll check and see if they have any of the Dark Horse tillers.

Sorry to report nothing at the Skowhegan store.

I called the Merrimack, NH store today and spoke with the manager. They don't have them in stock and don't have them on order but he took the SKU# and said he'd contact the buyer. He's perfectly willing to order them if he can get one (or more). $900 for the 6ft model is what they would charge as well. He's checking availability and I will order one if he says it's possible.

There's a store in Milford, NH now I wonder if they have these tillers, would
definitly be interested, let me know what you find out.

Bummer. The TSC manager got back to me. The Dark Horse line is a test product for TSC and is only available through the warehouse that services the Ohio/Indiana area or whatever other states use that distribution center I guess. He says they have no current plans to broaden distribution until they get feedback on the current Dark Horse products that are being test marketed. Could be up to a year before broader distribution is decided on.

Interesting info, since two of us here have seen the DH tiller sitting at the Enfield, CT store. Wonder where they got it from?

Thanks for the tips guys. I called the Griswold CT store and they still had one. Bought a six footer sight unseen and will go pick it up next week hopefully in time to put it to work next weekend.

I bought the 6' DH tiller from the Sayre, PA TSC store for $900. Fit and finish is not quite as good as the KK. I will put it to work this weekend.
