Daughters Birthday Present/Tiller

Well my daughter wanted a garden. Two years ago she kept up with the garden and did a great job. Last year she was gone for the summer so we didn't really plant anything. But she has been begging me to till the garden up. So I thought I would buy her a tiller for her birthday and you can see I am enlarging the garden for her. We are also going to make a large plot in another area where we will plant lots of sweet corn and even field corn to leave for the deer.

Well she actually did come up and say don't you think I should be running that thing. I told her to get on the tractor and then she said, is is hard to do?? I told her to let me get the first couple of passed done and then she can go through it a few times. There is rocks there and thought this would be best. In fact I did end up hitting something and breaking the drive chain so I am waiting for an new link for the chain.

But she is capable of running it.

Sounds like it's time to take some tension off that slip clutch!

Kinda the same story with both my Howard Rotovator and my King Kutter tiller.... In the "before and after" scheme of things, both of mine ar "AFTER".....

This might not be too bad Murph. You end up with a brand new tiller, a seeded, weeded garden, and all the fresh vegetables and sweet corn that you can eat for the summer. You HVAC guys know how to figure all the angles don't you? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
