Daughters Birthday Present/Tiller

Well I came home today and look what I found in the back yard. She is determined to get the garden planted. She took the tiller and tilled a row and then came back and made two rows with the wheel tracks. She then made mounds out of the loose dirt and on top of the wheel tracks. I think it should work for her.

Seat belt is on but I did inform her that flip flops for shoes was a no no.

That's awesome, man. My little girl turns 3 in August. We were just outside tonight poking around in the yard, catching lightning bugs, etc., and she wanted to ride the red tractor, so we took the MF 1220 for a ride around the neighborhood. (A safe ride, mind you.) She loves it...bossy little chick tells me where to drive! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm sure she's going to be shocked when she grows up to discover that not every man owns a compact utility tractor/loader, welds and plasma cuts stuff just for fun, etc. I feel sorry for her future husband already... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Dont worry familyman, the Dad thing goes on forever........My daughter knows where to come when things are not right. She is also a great kid. Been out of the house now just over a couple of years, but I still look forward to Sunday laundry visits. She also knows the difference between Father and Dad, glad I got to be "dad".

Very cool that she WANTS to do these things. My daughter is a little more domestic than to get on the tractor, in other words she is scared of it, just like her mom. The wife has driven it one time. She was surprised I had power steering.
