Red, blue, orange, green...did I miss any?
I have an davis 101 loader that is currently attached to my 1949 8N. Will this loader fit on a 2002 new holland TC40? I am new at this and curious. Any help will be appreciated. I have not bought the TC 40 yet but am thinking about it.

You would have to fabricate all mounting brackets so it would take a lot of work to get it to fit a TC40. OEM loaders and 3rd party loaders are designed for the tractor and are of the quick attach variety which is something you definately want. I sent you a private message because I'd be interested in your Davis for my 8N.

Not worth the time/hassle/$$$ to adapt your old loader considering the major improvement that a new loader will offer - quick attach & bigger capacities. Also you may want to consider resale - even if you don't plan to ever sell the TC40. your estate might when you kick the bucket.
