DC 33 DA 72\" Mower Price Check

Well, mine is actually a Case DX 33, but I hear they are the same. Went to price a 72” MM rear discharge mower at the Case dealer. He quoted $3600 dollars for the mower. Jeeze that seems way high. Are the NH mowers the exact same? Seems everyone is paying about $2500 for the NH mowers. If the mowers are the same, I have a NH dealer in the area and I’ll get him to check prices.

When I gave you an estimate of price, that was for a 914A 60" mower. The 72" will be higher.

You said about $2000 for the 60” side discharge. Another guy said $2480. He wants $2900 for that one. LAST week, the owner said “About $2400” for the 60” side discharge. He is not there. This is a salesman that said the price change came in this week. $3600 for a mower deck? This can’t be right.

Steel has certainy increased since I bought mine over 2 years ago. I have no idea what others are being quoted right now, sorry.

MY New Holland was 2,250.00 for the 72". That was 2 years ago so they may have gone up some. I am looking at real mowers and found a good price. I wished I could try one before I buy. If the real works for me my New Holland will be for sale. It's blue but could be painted.

Are the New Holland 72” 914A rear discharge mowers the exact same as the Case MWX72R? The reason I ask is, if I want to drive about 60 miles, there are a lot of New Holland dealers. A much bigger choice than Case.

I am not familiar with the New Holland numbers. If it is for the class ll tractors then yes they are the same. The zero turns have a different deck. I am not sure Case makes the zero turn though.

Well, another Case dealer quoted $3400 plus $200 to install for the MXW72R mower. That’s almost 25% the cost of a new tractor. I can’t believe these MM decks are this high.
