Dead battery

   / Dead battery #11
When I needed a new battery for my 1995 Cub Cadet AGS2130 lawn tractor after two years, I went to Auto Zone and they had one to fit but I thought the price was too high, so I went on down the road to Wal-Mart and bought one for 4 cents more than the one Auto Zone had (hey, it was cheaper than driving all the way back to Auto Zone). /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif And the Wal-Mart battery was still good two years later when I sold that machine.

I have been buying batteries from Auto Zone for about 20 years and only had one bad experience and they replaced it at no charge since it was only 3 or 4 months old. They always outlast the warranty which is all I expect from any brand.

Last one I bought was about a month ago (for the motorhome) and it is an 8 year battery with free replacement for the first 2 years. About $85 including tax.
