Capt. Phil never dramatized anything about his position as captain like that guy on the Wizard does every chance he gets...

Yea, he was real enjoyable to watch. He never really put on a show because he was on camera. Keith on the Wizard was a real ***** at times.

Discovery has some pretty good shows on, and the Deadliest Catch was one of my top. It's sad to see him go, but after that blood clot last year, it seemed that even he knew his time was short just from the little time he was on camera. RIP.

This show was why I went out and bought the big flat screen.
along with Ax men . Will miss seeing Phil on the Cornelia Marie with his boys. May his spirit guide them though fair seas and full pots .

Capt Phil was my favorite on the show. Over on Heavy Equipment Forums I just got a note in my Email that Axe Men's Jesse Browning's 4 year old daughter was maule d to death by their Rottwieler on the 28th of Feb.

I also enjoy these shows. I know they're compensated, but it's a tough life/job, and it's nice that they give viewers a look into their lives. Thoughts and prays going out to the Capt Phil, and the Browning families! ~Scotty
