You can ask dealer how long they have had the unit but as stated since you're getting full warranty that really does not matter. The newer models have a decal that says "Extra Power" on the side of the hood and they are referred to as the -1 models. They have 1 exta h.p. Your price is very fair.

The L3400 is available in both 4wd and 2wd - is this one 4wd?

thanks for all the replys' it is 4 x 4 I just called the dealer and he looked it up and it was invoiced sept 2008.

It is a fair price. I have that exact machine except it has HST. If you plan to do a lot of loader work I would say HST is much more desireable. Let us know how you make out.

Well I sealed the deal today. Final tally for the L3400 4x4 FEL, Tires filled, standard shift, AG tires, delivered $16,500 with tax it ended up being like $17,490 I got 0% for 4 years no money down. He said he would be here with it friday with 2 hats

. This is my first tractor I am pretty excited.

I just read this thread and I am also looking at a 2006 L3400. I am researching the satifisfaction rating on these tractors and they seem very high. The used one is going for $25k with 200 hours, 8.5 Woods backhoe, box scraper brush cutter and a new 15k lb trailer with 4 way disc brakes.
I don't think the 06 has changed much, so please let us know if it was a good deal.
