Dealer Dealer advice.

Jeff,
I live up near Buffalo NY and purchased an Iseki 1910 4wd tractor from this company in Febuary sight unseen. To be honest the guy I dealt with,cant remember his name but he was a b.s. artist. He told me the tractor was in very good condition approx 1000 hours repainted fluids and filters changed and ready to go. I had the tractor delivered to a place nearby with a loading dock. When the tractor arrived it looked great until Ilooked at the hour meter 2088 hours on it. The fluids and filters were old and just painted over.About 3 weeks after owning the tractor I noticed alot of play in the front end the bushings were shot and all seals started leaking. Right now I have the axle apart and am replacing all seals and bushings.The tractor runs good but at least you have the chance to look it over before buying it. Im not saying dont buy from there but look the tractor over carefully. I still dont know how he was able to ship the tractor without it leaking a drop of gear oil until I used it approx 5-10 hours,magic I guess.

JaybirdT, Which company are you talking about? Since your thread is in reply to one with my dealerships name on it people might think you are talking about me and it sure as hell wasn’t me!! I won’t ship tractors east of Montana.

Sorry Buck,
I should have been more clear. Someone asked about Coriher Impliment in N.C. By the way If I lived closer and needed another tractor I would buy it from you. My point is be careful and look closely as with anything.I think I speak for everyone who is new to grey tractors when I say we apreciate the help when its repair time.P.S. whens the Buffalo branch of EFC opening up?you can never have too many tractors /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
