Yesss...
Success at last!! Thanks to all of you for your thoughts, but most especially leonz:thumbsup: as his was the last post I saw prior to going out of town yesterday. I took his advice and basically stripped everything off the ***-end down to the link arms this afternoon and proceeded to check for level at each stage of reassembly. Turns out he was right that the dealer must have just thrown everything together in a hurry to get the thing "out the door". To the naked eye, sitting in the grass with the cutter resting on the ground, everything looks fine. I was truly amazed at how much difference 1/2" adjustment in that right link arm makes and how much it gets magnified to the further back on the set-up you go. Lesson learned. Man, I was a happy mowing machine this afternoon...kinda hated to get off of it tonight, but I had a thank you update to post. Once again, thanks for all the help. I may not know it now, but I'm sure there is another problem just waiting to happen that will require your collective experience and expertise. Dan
