Nope, The R4's are still mounted on their original rims.

The turf tires came mounted to new rims. The dealer tells my that's why they are so darn expensive. They get huge money for the rims alone!

The turf & R4's take different size rims. The turf rims are smaller diameter, giving a higher profile tire - more bounce to cushion the lawn.

I don't want to sell the R4's. I want my cake & eat it too /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif. They are great for winter use (especially since I've got chains that fit them) & any land clearing operations I might do (however small).

Emailed the wife that I got a $100 off. She replied that she still loved me, even though she didn't love the tires.

As hard a time as she gives me about the tractor & attachments, I do think she thinks it's sexy. She is planning on mowing the backyard this summer. She doesn't want to mow the front yard because she doesn't want anyone to see her if she screws something up.

I bought her a horn for the tractor for Christmas. She couldn't understand how we could pay $15K for a tractor & have it not come with a horn. I think it helps satisfy her need to communicate. -- Beep Beep, get out of the way, here I come.

Well at least you guys get your wifes on the tractor. My 13 year old daughter is the one that steals seat time. My wife told me before we got married that she couldn't cook because she grew up on a 4 wheel drive tractor. Her dad ran a farm with about 4,000 acres. Most of his tractors were 4 wheel drive and she spent most of her time on the tractor instead of cooking. Well she is right, she can't cook /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif, but the only problem is she is afraid to get on my tractor and even my 4 wheeler. She says the big 4 wheel drives won't tip over as easy as my tractor or 4 wheeler. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif.

So here I sit without a cook.
