It is simply amazing how some of these dealers sell anything, let alone get a return customer. I researched my purchase for about a year before I bought and had visited about 10 different dealers around the state. I had several dealers give me quotes and only one ever called me back to follow up.
I finally bought from a dealer I liked and trusted. There are three other Kubota dealers closer. I have been nothing but pleased with them so far. He also had the best price by far! My
BX2230 was delivered full of fuel and shiny. I went 25 hrs later to get an oil filter and he gave me one. I had a hydraulic leak by the steering valve, they came out to look at it on Saturday afternoon, found out it had a bad casting (pinhole) Took the tractor back to their shop, fixed it, and had it back to my house by 1:00 pm on Monday! The dealer is over an hour away!
I stopped back in last week to get my 50 hr service items, and he gave me an oil filter, a Hydraulic filter, and 2.5 gallons of Super UDT! He refused to let me pay for it, since I had trouble with the leak.
I sent in my next door neighbor who was looking for a new tractor. he ended up with a new
B7800, FEL and brushcutter. Out of apreciation, my dealer is welding me up a trailer hitch to use in my three point hitch.
I am very happy with this dealer, and plan to buy all my parts and accessories from him, and send everyone I know needing a tractor to him. This guy knows what customer service is about.
Sorry to hear about some of the problems you guys have had. I know I would have had similar problems with some of the dealers I visited, especially the snobby JD dealers. I guess they have enough business, they don't have to try??? /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
