Got a question, I'm having a loader and rear remotes installed on my Mahindra 5525.

The dealer picked of my tractor about noon Thursday and was hoping to get it back out to me today.

I just talked with them and they had some issues getting the rear remotes installed. They said that they had to find a fitting that would work and it took longer than expected.

That's totally fine with me, but I was wondering if they were installing the single spool kit from Mahindra why wouldn't it fit perfectly? If the instructions are followed that is. I have no idea what is involved in installing and plumbing all the stuff for a loader and remote so I though I'd ask.

Thanks,
Scott

Sounds like you need to ask them, not us:confused2:

Just wondering if was fairly normal to have to modify hoses or fitting that come in a kit?

If it were a factory kit made for your model tractor, I would it expect it to fit perfectly the first time. IMO, they probably had a job prior to yours take a little longer than expected, and are a little behind where they figured. "wrong fitting, gasket, muffler bearing" sounds like a generic excuse as to why they are a little behind. Personally, I wouldn't get concerned unless you get it back and something is not working properly. We all run a little behind sooner or later.

I think most people understand this. It just seems ashame that some dealers feel they have to lie about it and make up an excuse. I think it works against them in the long run. Just MO.
