Hi everyone, I am now a registered user.
Thanks to all who have made comments on the bx series tractors. My decision was very easy after reading your info.
A salesman @ my nearest dealer (1 hr. away) quoted me a reasonable price for a bx2200 (w/ fel & 54" mmm) at $12,800
Another dealer (1 hr. 45 min. away) Quoted $12,700 for the same package.
I figured that $100 might be worth it for the convenience of being closer so I called back. This time the owner answered and quoted a price of $13,750!!! When I told him what I was quoted by his salesman he tried to explain it away by talking about different fels & how prices had gone up in April. He very reluctantly said that if someone quoted me that price he would honor it, but I had to order it in the next week. AM I EVER GOING TO BE ABLE TO TRUST THAT PLACE?
Feeling a little P.Oed, I located another dealership in Heber City UT (2hrs away) Without a pause he quoted me $12,000 for the package. To top it off he said he would deliver it for that price!
If it wasn't for this board and all the advice I may have gotten screwed. This looong report was written just to say Thankyou to all who have given me insight on this wonderful machine!
