I'll second that its not a big deal. We've actually been told to overfill some machines to quite transmission components. I would not dump an extra two gallons in there, but a bit over is not a bad thing.

I agree with JerryG.. In general.. overfilling the HYD sump is no big deal. In some of my ford and NH manuals, it specifically states that you can overfill the sump by X quarts to make up for fluid lost in aux hyds.. etc.
As fro the crank case.. i like that to be right on.. not overfull.
