Ouch...12 bills for glow plugs? Some people love to take advantage of you when they can.

Who knows, maybe someday I'll rub it in their face. But for now, it just isn't worth the hassle and probably nothing to gain either

Sounds pretty high, doesn't it? But without knowing if they just spun out the three plugs and screwed in the new ones or had one or more twist off, we can't really say. If the cylinder head had to come off so a glowplug could be drilled out and the hole tapped, 1200 may not be so very high. Pickup and delivery can add substantially to a modest work order, too. Obviously, jjc wsn't happy. But we can't judge based on what we know.
