Dealer sold me a light duty scraper blade

Someone in the supply chain used a fork truck to move the cutter and got a fork jambed above the stump jumper. I have seen it before....it's bent...get a different one.

I can understand that, stuff happens! For some reason they wanted to take the stump jumper and blades off, check the output shaft for trueness and replace the bent parts on this unit and get it back to me asap if it checks out OK.

Maybe that's easier for them to deal with than a swap? So now I wait til next week and see what they say. If I was out of customer paying work I had lined up I'd fuss more but my farm can wait another week for a cutting. Not an ideal situation for me or them at this point, I guess.

Just wanted to update and say I got a new bush hog from them and put about 4 hrs on it last weekend. Everything is working great! Out on the farm the tractor does feel small but I had to draw the line somewhere - and compromise some things to add benefits in other categories.

Now I am thinking hard and researching rear blades after all those suggestions. I'll probably just make a new thread about that if I feel like it, I consider the topics of this thread covered by the dealer and I'm loving the tractor! Might have to go find the pics thread and post some

And to anyone out there operating on hills I respect you because it's quite the curious experience. The problem is that I grew up on and still ride dirt bikes and atvs so I want to make sure I don't push the tractor too bad, those machines go almost anywhere. I'm being very careful - wrecked a few quads and bikes but don't want to say I ever did a tractor :thumbsdown:
