I chatted with the salesman this morning and we decided to just wipe the scraper blade out of the deal all together. I'm bringing it back to them tomorrow.

I apologized for the hassle!

He explained to me how Kubota has a lien on it etc and they will have to do all the mumbo jumbo to clear it before they can sell it again.

Sounds like a great resolution!!!

A decent dealer will always work with you. They will not jeopardize their reputation for a few $$$.

I have two friends now looking at buying an LS tractor and a third looking at getting implements from the dealer who sold me my tractor last year. All due to my positive experience so far. He has continued to treat me well in spite of my ordering both my pallet forks and grapple on line. In hindsight I should have purchased the pallet forks from him and I told him that...did not save more than $100. This dealer was very impressed with the value of my MTL grapple and he is not letting his other customers aware of this option for light duty work. Saya a lot about him.

BTW, look at the MTL grapple instead of renting one. They are about $1000 delivered. I have used it to move over 12 loggers cords of wood with no issues at all.

Make sure your pallet forks are adjustable for width.

The NH TC33D I bought was actually a repo unit because the first guys financing didn't go through. I was at the dealer when the truck pulled in with it after they picked it up. I did a cash deal and the dealer was thrilled. The dealer was not happy with the first guy as he drilled holes in the ROPS to install lights. I got a good deal, the dealer sold the unit, and it was a great tractor for me.

For my Kubota L48 TLB I have EA 4400# pallet forks, and they ARE adjustable for width.

For my little Ford 1920 FEL though, I have 3pt. pallet forks that are NOT adjustable.
Those forks came from Agri Supply.
They will not lift very high, but will lift over 2,000 lbs, and are very handy.
I leave them on the 3 pt. all the time.

I have bolt on bucket forks for the Ford too, but do not use them, for fear of bending the bucket.
The Kubota can do the higher/heavier lifting.

That sounds great. Yes, that is the blade I would buy if I had the money!

Maybe this is a nightmare? I hope the pics show up. So plan was to drop off the grader blade in the morning and done...I figured I'd go try out the cutter at the farm after that but not anymore. Worst luck ever? something else?

The tractor was backed off the rollback with brush hog attached and parked in my driveway. After he left I moved the hog to the side of the driveway in the mulch. It sat there several days, then once I figured the little scraper blade needed to come off there (couple days ago?) I put the cutter back on, read the manual, proceeded to drive up my suburb street to my grandmas side yard (lawn) just to have a safe open space to power it up.

Heard some whispy noise and light clunking and felt a little vibration at start but once up to 540 speed seemed ok? I didn't think too much about it, been busy, only operated a brush hog once back when I was 21, and figured it seemed to work good enough turning on and off?

SO since I was planning to really use it tomorrow, tonight I decided to give a look underneath, and proceeded to spin the blades by hand just messing around. I heard it scraping the deck and then I took a flashlight under there and see this. Someone that works there, or some construction guy there (big new shop area expansion going in by the tractor/attachment lot) moved this thing roughly with forks, it seems? There is still the gray lot/crushed limestone mud all over where the damage is, what the heck?
