Try Pauley Equipment in Temecula and or Escondido. I know that they take trade ins and they have M59s at Escondido store. Escondido phone # is 760-745-8745, ask for Henry. I have no idea what kind of $$$$$ that they would give you on your M7040. Doesn't hurt to ask though.

Yep you are correct. I found a local Kubota dealer who was willing to take my tractor in on trade for a new M59 this week. Now mind you, my 07 M7040HD is super clean and only has 312 hours on it. The dealer offered me $20,000.00 for my tractor in trade. I guess you can figure out what my answer to him was.

Mule I understand why you want to sale, my M9540 has lots of 'first out' flaws too. My selling Dealer didn't want to get involved until I called Kubota and things started to happen. I'm sure you can find a Dealer who will take her in but at what price? KCC finance is hard to beat and a division of Kubota dedicated to secure continued production at their focus factories. Believe me when I say, I would have went over to the Green side if it was not for financing at KCC. Deere is pricey but the support here locally is for total satifaction with customers or they buy them back. Sell it yourself and don't set foot back in that Dealership who took the profits and are now running away from your dissatisfaction with this tractor. I'll keep watching your post to see how it turns out.

I'm talking with Henry at Pauley Equipment right now. I'll see where that goes. Interesting side note, he said his Kubota rep told him a new L39 is in the works for next year model 2010. It will have 45HP and HST PLUS. I wonder if it will be a turboed 39HP motor???

Okay Brian. I'm letting you know how it worked out. Right now I feel like I need blood preasure meds and I don't even have high blood pressure! I'm so pissed at your "Henry" and Pauley Equipment that I feel like going Green!

I called Henry like you suggested and told him what I wanted. I Emailed him pictures of my tractor and he said that it was like new and they could make a deal happen. That was three or four days ago.

Wednesday I called Henry and he said they had only sold two tractors like mine in a years time, but he had spoken with his sales manager and they would be able to make the deal roll. He further said he thought an L48 would better fit my needs and he was looking for a new one that had not been sitting on a dealers lot for a long time.

Yesterday afternoon I called Henry and he said he was working up the numbers as we spoke and he would call me right back. Around 4:00 P.M., after not hearing from Henry, I called him again and he told me he had been busy, but he would call me back before he went home. I asked him what time he went home and he said 5:30 P.M.

Today around 11:00 A.M., after hearing NOTHING from Henry, I called and spoke with Mike Pauley. Mike said he would check on the deal and see why Henry was not calling me. Mike called me back a few minuters later and told me they could not sell me a tractor, as I lived out of their sales area.

Confused, I explained to Mike that my dealer did not have the working capital to take my tractor on trade and that my dealer was fine with me going out of the area to purchase a Kubota product.

Mike then started side stepping, stating used tractors were not selling, Bla, Bla, Bla. I asked Mike why Henry wasted my time and did not have the balls to tell me up front that he could not sell me a tractor, due to the fact I lived out of the area. Mike said Henry just wanted to sell me a tractor.

What a bunch of bull ****!! This experiance has really pissed me off. This is the kind of crap that turns people off on dealers. I'm an American. I will spend my money where and when I want. I guess business must be so good at Pauley's that they don't need the money. What an unprofessional dealer.

I heard the same old story about used tractors "not selling right now." I put mine on Craigslist and had it sold in 3 days. There are plenty of folks looking for used tractors.

Muleskinner, sorry what happened to you.:eek: I have not actually bought from Pauley Equipment before, just know that they are a fairly big dealer that claim that they sell about 240 tractors a year. My neighbor bought his Kubota there and said that they were great to work with all the way up to the time that he handed them a $50k check. Then it was all down hill from there, I just didn't know for sure if the down hill part was his fault or theirs. Again, sorry for the time that you wasted, I was hoping that they would have been able to help you out, but I guess not and you are right, Henry should have told you up front that they weren't going to be able to help you out with your tractor.

Oh, and he is not my Henry, just that he is the Kubota sales guy and the other salesman is mainly the New Holland salesman.

Brian I didn't mean to infer Henry was your guy,,,,I just meant he was the guy you refered me to. I sort of read between the lines that you had bought from the guy before.

Yes old Henry is a snake in the grass and not what I would call real professional. I'll just bet if I did not have a trade in in the mix and walked onto their lot with cash in hand, old Mike Pauley would not give a crap where I lived. He would bust his *** to sell me a tractor! Money talks, ******** walks!
