Yes, I'd check your states lemon law. I believe in NY, that they have 3 chances.
My gripe with her was not over the problem being fixed rather I already knew what the problem was...was willing to eat the 25 minutes rack time for them to confirm what I already knew (the VCM communication system) but when I watched the truck go in, sit for an hour+ and then get looked at and then given a bill for 2 hours labor and then an estimate of another $600 to fix it, I called her out. She went "nasty".Those dealer service writers work on commision so they won't lose too much sleep over you coming back pissed because something's not been repaired properly, they'll just find something else to charge you for.
