You folks are amazing. You can turn a thread about good deals on a ford truck into a gm/dodge bashing political mess. Assuming literacy is common amongst all of us, read the brand bashing sticky at the top of the page. It is a very easy read. Now, to the topic at hand, they are SD Fords in my area now for 12k off msrp. The only problem is the selection is extremely limited. Most are 2wd xl or xlt trim in a non popular color. They run this deal usually twice a year.

Agree- back on thread! Just to clarify my point on "Obama Motors", my view is not anti GM or Chrysler, but rather pro Ford. They took a very risky position to solve their own issue. I do believe Ford also supported a GM/Chrysler bailout however it was done because they recognized the disaster that would happen if the entire supply chain went down.

By the way- I bought some GM stock when it came out-wish I'd have put the money into more Ford:(

Thank you. My thoughts exactly!

A friend told me some regional dealers were really discounting new Ford diesels, and Ford was offering a substantial rebate and zero% financing. He said they even had some 2011 still on the lot. I'm not sure if he was correct. Anyone been dealing lately for a Superduty and if so, what's the going price? It may be a good time to get one cheaply. My '06 has 190,000 miles

I have seen a few deals around here 12k off sticker and 0% for 72 months. However, my 2002 F250 7.3 just turned 60,000 miles. Nice not have a payment and low miles:thumbsup:.

Agreed...A truck discussion can't be had here without it devolving into a "government motors' assult on GM and Chrysler..Good grief...I own one Ford and I'm not a Ford fan by any means, but I don't trash them at any opportunity...All manufactuers make good stuff and they can all lay an egg once in a while...It happens.

I test Drove one of the 6.7' today in a 350 SRW (Chris...don't excited I am still a DRW driver). Seemed like good power, but you can't test torque without resistance....It did not have a fith wheel hitch to hook on to. My 7.3 PSD is doing fine with its Banks updates and engine brake from 2 years ago but I need to replace a 1990 F450 (superduty Dump truck). 7.3 non turbo. I am thinking to put a dump bed on the F350DRW and upgrade my pulling unit to the F450

That is why I dont participate in these truck threads. All the immature children come out of hiding, usually ruin a good thread with legit questions by the OP.

Ain't that the truth...!! Key industries that comprise a "vital" percentage of the nation's economic structure - left to die on the vine??!!?? Ignorance...

Why are there no alarms sounded with government handouts to Rural electric Co-ops? Or the taxpayer billions that go out annually to EVERY airport in the nation?

I say let 'em go dark and silent!

Everybody will be better for it...
