Ballast Decals and weights

Can anyone direct me to a source for decals and front suitcase weights for a L185? I would like to repaint mine but need to find a decal set. THank You

Do you mean other than from a dealer? I got a complete set of decals for my F2400 through the local dealer, but I had to order each one individually - Kubota doesn't offer a complete set of decals in one package, at least not for the F2400. I don't know about other series. Can't help you with the weights question.

Nah, no idea here either, but tell us more about your L185. I have a grey copy and there are not too many of us with the old clunkers on this board.

I bought mine this winter so havent had alot of time to use it, its got 1400 hrs on it and is in decent shape needs a little paint but overall not bad. I picked it up at a dealer for $1800 with a rear 60" Kubota mower deck, good turf tires all around and new battery. I got another question on it, it does not have a fuel gauge can you get a fuel cap with gauge on it for this tractor?

A fuel gauge? Yes indeed, it does have a fuel gauge. Look at the left side of the fuel tank and you will see a sight tube. At least my L185 has one. Of course the tube is so old you can't see the fuel anymore. Anybody know what kind of clear tubing is okay to use with diesel? I understand the clear "Tygon" PVC tubing at a hardware store is not suitable, poor resistance to solvents.

When I repainted my old B8200, I just used masking tape over the decals and taped them all off. If you do a good job of taping you will not be able to tell that they were taped off. Most people thought that it was the original paint and decals. Made the tractor look like new, and when I sold it I got top $ for it.

Mine has been painted over too. I wondered but now I think I'll act. You guys tend to get one motivated to fix a little thing like that !

Now just need to run the tank dry !!
