You might be on to something there. Because the one that could order is a considerable distance to the nearest Cub dealer and the store that couldn't is only a few miles away.

Sounds like you chose well. No first hand on either one, but everything I've read says the KC over Intek for sure.
Gamble77, please let us know how your chit-chat turns out. Up my way, the IH dealer sells mostly ZF's and an occasional RZT or Tank. A half mile west, TSC sells RZTs. Last year, one or the other advertised price matching, I think it was IH, but can't remember for sure.

After reading Mith's "Tractor Whisperer" theory, your "LOML" made me wonder whether you brought your wife or your tractor to check out the mowers:
I can see logic with either. Make sure the wife doesn't think you spent too much, or [assuming you talk to tractors] ask the tractor's opinion as it takes one to know one (maybe make sure it won't get jealous too!) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The thing about this whole "price matching" is not up to dealers. Lowes, TSC, and independent dealers have to all advertise at the same price or they don't get reinbursed by Cub...and they also get their a** chewed about it.
