deciphering on line parts numbers

On the online parts manuals. they show parts for ASN and BSN numbers. What do those mean? how do I determine which of the two I need.

Do'h! thanks, that makes sense. explains why I got the wrong dash panel. lol I can make it work just need a different boot for steering column.
