The JD is about $650.00 less and the Kubota is two HP more power plus the lift with the FEL is 1015 LBS. The JD is only 610LBS with the FEL. I really like the quick release on the JD FEL, but still looking at that L2800.
I'm really not partial to one brand over the other - For the $650 difference, if the Kubota is that much stronger I think I know which way I'd go. Either brand makes great products - down the road I think you'd be happy having the extra power.
I decided on the Kubota, but steped up to the L3400 with FEL. I think I got a good deal $15400.00 with R-4 tires. There is only 2 kubota dealers in Colorado that I could choose from. It will be delivered next week. I will post after I have a chance to use it.
