deck removal

I'm trying to get the 2230 ready for winter by removing 54" deck. The L links are giving me one heck of a fight. Am I doing something wrong? The deck is set to zero. I'm pulling hard on them, but the springs aren't budging. I only do this per year, so it takes me awhile to relearn everything.

are your wheels set right. adjust them all the way down. try setting a 2x4 on each side under the wheels if the above does not work.

Yea,

You need to make sure all the pressure is off the deck for the pins to give out easily. You might want to put blocks under the wheels and double check that you are set at zero.

Finally got it. I had to WD40 the the L clips and spin 'em a bit to get them to come out. Thanks.
