View from the road. This is the back of the wall and will be filled in with hedge on top. Many people stopped to ask why I was putting the blocks in backwards. My reply was that front side was going to be enjoyed by my family. I didn’t tell them of the back fill and hedge on top.

Fill soil completed. Now installing the weed guard fabric.

Pulling the soil back so that I had at least 12 inches clearance from the top of cap for clean dirt.

Clean dirt (rock free) applied. Have the first pvc run put down for the sprinkler system.
More pictures to come as we continue to get closer to the finished product. That’s if my body holds up.

That's quite a project PJ, most impressive. Glad to see you're making progress as I'm in the early stages of a similar wall. I'm using the smaller blocks (25 pounds each) so maybe my back will suffer less? More trips of course. We've got a thunderstorm rolling through right now so I don't know when my day will start. How long did this project take you?
