Deep Cycle Battery

I am replacing an older interstate 12 volt d\c battery, thinking about the Optima,are they worth the xtra $$$ or should I replace with a like battery at a third the cost ? I have the trailer plugged in most of the time.

I have had good success replacing deep cycle batteries with the least costly deep cycle ones I can find at Wally World, especially if it is plugged in most of the time.

The price is ~ 1/5 the cost of the Optima. and if you keep them topped off they last several years. Who knows what I am going to do with my trailer in 10 years?

The only problem I have is that recently the Wally World nearby is out of stock, they still carry them, but always out...
