Deer are wrecking my wire fence!!

I think this would be a better trick, narrow enough that a horse cant get through it, but wide enough for a deer. But 3' seems wide enough for a horse to get through /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Had another idea. Since the holes in the wire where they bust through, seem to be fairly low, would going ahead and cutting out a hole in the wire but frame it with board? Kinda like a dog door. This should work in that it would be too low and too narrow for a horse. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

True, I butt the short fence up closer to the long fence. But if you make them wide enough for you, they are wide enough for deer.

In my case, the one fence is wide enough for me and two buckets, then I make the turn. Instead of two turns as I approach the fence.

I have seen deer at full speed go under vinyl fencing which is about 2 feet off the ground. The first time it happened I could not comprehend what I just saw. The second time, and third I was prepared for it, so I was just amazed.
