True, I butt the short fence up closer to the long fence. But if you make them wide enough for you, they are wide enough for deer.
In my case, the one fence is wide enough for me and two buckets, then I make the turn. Instead of two turns as I approach the fence.
I have seen deer at full speed go under vinyl fencing which is about 2 feet off the ground. The first time it happened I could not comprehend what I just saw. The second time, and third I was prepared for it, so I was just amazed.
