My old 425 has the same setup the lower fitting needs to be more upright and then run that one hose behind the hanger the other 3 go in front of the hanger bracket for the lift.
I've plowed for 5 yrs and have yet to back any fittings

You are right snow packs in there and if the snow is very wet it really packs in hard I take a little pry bar and dig the snow out abot every evening This yr only about 60" of snow the norm is 120-165" a season
