When I bought my 4520 cab tractor it was 18% off including the tiller and field cultivator plus all add ons. Took the better part of the first day to look everything over and install the accessories. I also made some neat tiedowns for the front of the tractor since it is moved around alot. Makes chaining down to the trailer easy.
I ran out of energy on the 4520 when getting quotes. 2 other dealers I tried were not even close to the 16% off list price. 18% off list is probably about as good as most people can do. I do my best dealing when buying something I don't want/need badly. I could have pushed a little harder but a couple hundred dollars was not going to break or make the deal. I would guess a dealer has more "room" to deal with 4520 or 4720 compared to a 4120. They are basically the same tractor and JD has more room for discounts on the larger hp models in the same chassis.
