Howdy all
Going to look at a JD 24t baler tomorrow. It has a kicker on it, but it is driven with a pto shaft that is behind and to the left of the knotters. Can anyone tell me what to look for with it? Other JD kickers I have seen have the hydraulic pump driven by belts coming off of the flywheel, which I believe is more modern and would add more cost to the baler. The baler I'm going to see is priced reasonably, but I want to know if I should be concerned about this kicker.
Thanks folks!!
