nmu98 - it is not sizing the tractor for the job, it is sizing the tractor for the speed that you want the job done! Bigger than you might need tractor on smaller acreage = job done fast! More time for other things in life!

I would hate to think what would happen if one of those 3 orange thingy's got in front of my Ford 7710 and I didn't see it.
My calculations put me at 79 horsepower per acre, which is probably more than all of the orange thingy's combined, so I can get it done as fast as I want.
One day I will get me a 15 foot finish mower to get the job done faster!!!

Hey, Hey nmu98, I like my jazz, the news, some of the talk shows, and the comedy - none of that is really available except NPR on terrestrial radio. and i got a portable SAT RADIO, that I use when I am outside working any how, so I just can plug it into the 3520's radio and there you go SAT RADIO!

I do have a wireless TV set-up whereupon i could, ......etc LOL!

Hwy, BTW, I have some "TACTORs" (small transducer), but they are on the tractor!

I was just giving you some crap... Its all good.... If I could fit a buddy seat in my 3720, I would put in a dvd player for my kids to watch.... But no luck...

OMG........ LOL... Very rough, but I am very, very close to 1 HP per acre Put in the land I rent, and........ Probably closer to .7 or .6...

Lets talk about $$$$ per year your tractor makes to each HP.... I am pretty close to around $100.00 per HP for a small hobby.....

At this exact point in time, my calculation is MINUS $1212. per HP per Year. Oh well the longer I keep it the number will improve.

Call me rain on a parade, but I understand you can be held liable for injury someone receives from mail box or it's post or light post if built as the lawn mower is. This may vary from state to state due to the laws of that state. It would seem but no attorney, if you are using US Postal approved mail box and normal post you would be safe. I would suggest checking. At least check with your liability insurance company to verify you are covered if it is on government land as most mailboxes are. kt
