Deere MX8 Semi mount cutter

Hi guys new here but I just ordered a new Deere MX8 semi mount cutter for my Kubota 6040 yesterday and just wanted yalls feedback on them. I sold my 10ft Bush Hog 2010 that came with my new tractor just felt it was a bit much for my rolling ground here in North Bama. Thanks, Matt

That should be easier to handle on those rolling hills. I used to drive over to Madison AL and remember the terrain.

Not familiar with the MX8, but an 8 footer would be my choice for that size tractor. You can pull a bigger one on flat or rolling ground, I believe foreman Etexas did with his M5040, but having used a Woods DS1260 for the last three years on hilly ground with a Case CX80 then Kubota M8540, I wouldn't want to do it with a smaller tractor.
