Is this for real? Hum...some people....If it's not for real, I guess I am just feeding a troll. If it is for real, people with this magnitude of ignorance, are amusing to observe.
Yeah johndeerefarmer, you are quite correct. Think I will get another Mahindra 6500 for the other end of my bookshelf.
I do not buy a tractor by "brand". Had a new JD before this one.
Oh, a lot more can be said, but I think it is more fun to watch you wallow in your feeble-minded, fuddlebrained bigotry.
Hope you get a new pair of blinders for the new year, cause the ones you have now must be worn out from so much straight ahead looking......l
Edit: No info entered for this bozo, so...probably some dullard, who is already a member, trying to stoke the fire. These people always strike me as very slimy. That's ok. Chet happens every day, and one has to deal with it. What I said above, should take care of today's quota, because I dealt with some real slimy Chet!
Right on Maine, I can't believe some of the attitudes that show up on TBN. Johndeerefarmer, a newbie shows up here preaching about how much better John Deere is than everything else, but most of us on TBN know better

. I don't understand why some of these JD guys feel like they have to promote/defend JD like its a badge of honor for the USA, or feel like you are personally attacking one of their children if you happen not to want to own, or dislike JD tractors. I can't figure out why people get so defensive about a hunk of steel, plastic, and sheetmetal in any color. In this case, Johndeerefarmer has only posted 8 times and more than half of his post seem to be inflamatory or somewhat argumentative, and pro JD, fine the guy likes JD, big deal, people get what they like and what fits their needs red, blue, green, orange, yellow, there all good....now where is that bottle of the "real" JD.

Re: Deere scared?
Deere sure isn't scared of Mahindra. Real farmers will not buy one because they know that they are just an old 30 year old IH tractor made in India..........Sure some of you cheapskates may buy...

Re: RTV900 vs a Diesel HPX
Sad thing is that you don't know what you are talking about... The diff lock only locks the rear wheels. I would hate to buy one of those Kubota's from you, since YOU tend to skew things..

Re: New Vermeer 5410 Rebel Baler
Check the resale value on John Deere v.s. ANY other brand. Green may cost a little more up front but is worth it in the long run. Around here, a few tightwads use Kubota and MF tractors and Vermeer...

John Deere is better. Costs more up front but has a higher resale value.
"Real" farmers and customer operators use John Deere............

Dad and i bought the Craftsman 3/4 drive set nearly 20 years ago. Still works great (even after I put a 6' cheater pipe on the breaker bar) to remove stubborn nuts on my Bush Hog mower blades

Re: MAHINDRA,KIOTI AND KUBOTA,HOW DO THEY COMPARE?
That's the problem. Kubota's are too light. Meaning their frame isn't heavy enough. They break easy.
Buy a heavy tractor, like a John Deere /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Be careful with those cheap post hole diggers. I have saw the boom bent when it was used with larger hp tractors. (this happens when the auger gets stuck in the ground and the hitch is raised up to...

Re: Opinions on Round Balers
I ran a JD 4x4 round baler for 12 years. I put about 1000 bales a year through it. In thick windrows, I kicked out a bale about once a minute. This baler had manual tie (hydraulic) and manual gate....
