Driving home today and saw in grassy field next to the local Catholic church bunches of green and yellow vehicles cruising around. Swung in an hour later and partook in the fun.

They had a bit of everything to try out. Several sizes of the Z-Traks, Quik-Trak, Gators, Wide-Area mowers, front mowers, 110 TLB, 5025, 4520 + 400x, 3520 + 300x, as well as walk behind and trimmers ect.

I was very excited to get to try out the new 3000 twenty as well as 4000 twenty. All I can say is WOW. Compaired to my good-old 4200 it was night and day. Big difference is obviously the E-hydro, all the 10 series guys already know this. The new turbo engines seem to have great power all through the tach, where as my 4200 needs to be at 2000 or above to have useable power.

Was also impressed with the new loaders and how they work on the tractor. Nice view over the hood as well as on the side. Didn't get to unhook, but that seems rather well thoughtout.

On a side note, had fun crusing around on a 797 Max-series zero turn. It was actully a bit tougher then I thought to keep a nice strait row, especially when pushing those levers too far toward /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif That 72" 7-Iron ripped through 12+" grass even with me going way too fast.

This was definately a fun time, like a big grassy sandbox with big-kid toys. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wished I would have known. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I would have made a trip to have some fun and check it out myself.

Was it a JD event or something for a local dealer? The closest dealer (Mars, PA) doesn't seem like a big enough dealer to have everything you mentioned.

Acutually I had no idea. I drive down Rochester Rd every day on my way home. I saw green and yellow flags in the lot as well as JD banners and signs (not to mention all the big toys)

It was acutally run by the company, there were about 6 or so actual JD employees there. There were also reps from about all the local dealers (Maple Mountain, Crichlow) however, BJ was not there because they had to be at their store.

This was geared towards business that use the equipment, such as landscapers, mowing companies. They asked me and because I was only residential I did not qualify for the drawing they were having, but I could still try out everything that was there. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
