Tires Deere tires

On the home page of this great web-site (TBN) is a pricture of a Deere TLB. A very nice looking tractor, I don't know the model. Can someone tell me what kind of <font color="red"> tires </font> are on it, make, model, and type. Thank you.

The pic I see is of a new 4020 series tractor. the tire is an industrial tread, probably Titan brand tire. Very common on the cuts..

It's the R4 tire. "Industrial tread (R4)—less aggressive than the R1 tire. Designed for industrial applications such as landscapers, contractors, rental yards, and roadside mowing."

Thanks, for some reason I didn't think it was a R4. It looked less aggressive than that to me. Thats why I asked. I guess it must be how shiney and new it is. Thanks for setting me straight.

That sure looks like a 20 series with the R-4s tires.

Yes they are Titan tires. Just took delivery of a new 4520.Tires are heavy duty R4 size 17-5L-24. also has Titans on front. Very nice tractor!

Hello Woodlot,
Sometimes you might go to the Deere website and choose the model of tractor you're interested in and then click "Build Your Own"
There you'll find a bunch of info, sometimes there are tire brands with the tire sizes offered.

Don't forget to click on the photo icon, where you'll find more info.
also, the User Manual section has a bunch of info.
I think JD has everyone else whipped on their website.
Though the actual photos are few [they all have too few photos]. But I think they really would prefer that you get down to the dealer to kick the tires. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
