Long day of speaking with "executives" and managers who tried to tell me to just live with the problem. It sounded like you advocated the same. No possibility for such an amnesty policy with me. For my money, if any company tells me to just live with a defect, they will not only get sick of hearing from me, but my legal department will soon discuss the matter with them in court.
If something is not going to work, nobody is going to get by with selling it to me under false pretenses that it would work when it doesn't, and get by with it. It seemed that you were strongly stating that not all problems need to be addressed, and I simply was stating that such a policy will never fly with me. No more, no less.
