A TV show about the Buggati Bayron. The most expensive production car ever. Buggati is owned by Volks Wagon, and the program was sponsored by Hyundai. What a car though ,253 mph and only costs 1.3 million.

Buggati 253 mph = $5138 per miles per hour
Corvette ZR1 205 mph = $542 per miles per hour

You can buy 11.7 Corvettes for $1.3 million and then go 2400 MPH!

I watched that show last night and was really impressed. There is nothing about that car that relates to anything else on the road. I was impressed with the 16 cylinder engine and how unique it is, to how much heat it puts out and the ten radiators it has to cool it. It was ten wasn't it? How they invented a new type of transmission that can handle 1,000 hp and change gears faster then a human blinks without being able to notice it. Then the brakes and how they are made by hand and how that wing works to hold it on the road, and to stop it!!! Heck, who would have thought that a special fuel tank that can deliver 8 times as much fuel would have been som complicated.

While I'm not a big fan of sports cars, or even want one, I was very impressed with this car and actualy think it's a bargain for that price.

If you haven't seen the show, watch it. Truly incredible what it does and what they had to do in order to make it happen.

One of the best Top Gear clips I've ever seen. I love that show!

I'd still go with the Corvette...given the price and performance, hard to beat. Especially a Z06.

Finding someone to fix that thing could be a nightmare, let alone the expense...I know, I know...if you can buy it, you can afford to fix it...But still:confused:

I loved that episode, " at this speed the tires will only last 20 min... but don't worry you will run out of gas before that!" Like Eddie said there was a lot of "facts" like that in there.
I swear that guy was having a religious experience at 253 mph. Saw a tear in his eye?:p

I think the tear may be a male response to..."What's the wife gonna say when I bring this home?"
