Delays in getting Deere tractors made in India.

I was in my local JD dealer last week looking at toys for myself, and I mentioned to a salesman that stopped to talk to me that I hadn't seen the guy who sold me my equipment over the years beginning in 2001.

He told me he left to sell hay equipment because he was tired of rightfully pi$$ed off customers busting his chops over months long delays in getting Deere tractors made in India.

Has anyone else heard of this situation?

Supply is pretty good right now, lots of iron on the ground in that hp range (Indian made)...sounds more of a dealership planning issue than a Deere issue. We have to basically plan our inventory levels 9-6-12 months in advance depending on what product it is.

The Deers production plant in India has doubled its production now, and the equipments are exporting more now than the older days. So, there will not be any supply problems now.
