Matt; Alot of effort and it turned out very nice. My king kutter twisted the lower pipe that connects the blade to the turning mechanism. I didn't know a piece of ice and a D-15 AC could do this so easily. After I perform surgery on the turning mount I was just thinking about adding tabs to the main 2 1/2" front tube so they would match the demensions of the I match. The top mount may half to be extended also.
Second thought was to sell it and buy a heavy duty model to closer match the torque of the new tractor. Just one of many projects on the back burner.

you might consider some diamond gussets over the butt welds on a couple of faces to reinforce the tube (i dont think you sleaved it)

Nice job ! I have the same blade, well if yours is 6ft I do. It is definitely a light duty blade, I only use mine for grading about 800 ft of driveway and it works fine.

Is the I-match something like the quick hitch, I assume its the same principle, so you can just bak up your tractor and go ?

I started converting my King Kutter back blade over to work with my i-Match over the weekend. I had pretty much cut the front apart and put it back together to make it work. The lower section had to be narrowed about 2" and the geometry of the top was all wrong. Some "extra" pieces off my rotary cutter (next to get an i-Match modification) were enough to complete the job.

I want to make a stand for the front of it, then I'll clean it all up and repaint it John Deere Green just in time for the winter season.

I had the same KK blade as the one you cut up. Would not fit with the SpeeCo quick hitch from TSC. I sold the blade and bought the King Kutter medium duty Pro Series blade. Painted it and the SpeeCo quick hitch JD green. The blade fit right up with the SpeeCo hitch.
