Delivery Day

Well i got my L3000dt today. put 1.3 hours on it this afternoon. my driveway is smooth. i boxbladed that sucker. i had never used a box blade before and i was amazed!nothing like a straight blade.
man that is a great feeling! i hated paying that much money but work is fun now! i am going to get back on it tomorrow and just get after it. i noticed that my disc didnt come greased and i ran out so i will get it in shape. my wood brush bull should be here wed. thats when i get after it. i have alot of cutting to do.
I have looked at a lot of tractors but i kept coming back to this one i just liked the L3000 and now i have one. and what a feeling!!!

My hour meter just clicked over 85 and mine is just a few days over 5 weeks old!

B2910...loader, backhoe, RFM...only about 2 of those hours was cutting grass...

Have to get a box blade myself...will order one on Monday...

Yeah i could see putting that many hours on it. i don't think my boat ,four wheeler or anything else has consumed me like this tractor. i took my wifes garage spot with it . it's parked right outside the door into my garage. she said ok for now but it's got to go to the shop. i think i will just make room on my side. i will have to rearrange a few things.HA
i can't wait until my brush hog gets here on it's way maybe wed.
Today i am trying to figure out how to build me a expanded metal shield to keep from getting hit with chunks.i have an idea but need some angle iron . i have the expanded . and while figuring in my head i got this idea of how to build a cage sort of. i have to slow down it's not going anywhere. i am just so happy with my tractor. oh well back to the garage.
