Tired of spending a fortune on corundum based high speed metal cutting wheels. They last all but 15minutes.

Anyone make diamond blades for metal in depressed center? I figure they'd last the summer.

I think you mean carborundum which is actually a trade name. If you are cutting quite a bit of steel, the way to go is a cold saw. They cut burr free and the baldes last a long time. The next best alternative would be a horoziontal band saw.

I don't like cutting with a resin wheel. The dust will ruin your lungs. Besides, it messes up the shop. I even prefer a gas axe over a resin wheel even though the Metabo type wheels do have their uses.

Diamond wheel are out there but you had better have a real fat check book, and it won't be fat very long.
