Is posting the Number allowed?

That way a person still has to open up Ebay on their own and enter said Number to complete the search and they will not get many others hits - that they were not looking for.

No slam to Mossroad. Thanks Teg....I was going to address that I thought TBN now allowed ebay and craigslist links but could not reference it and was hoping that someone would be able to verify what I thought I had read.
I didn't read it any where, I just express concerns that there are more good links to ebay than bad ones... and even if someone links to a bad link (scam) we can inform them of that fact!!!

Hello everyone,

I wanted you to know I have been listening and for now I'm leaning towards a Case/Ingersoll Full Hydraulic Garden Tractor....

Marie and I really want to travel in our RVs and that has to come first.
I can learn more about the Hyd set up and how it all works by owning one and maintaining it. Once I have more time and funds, I can build my Corvair tractor then.
Plus by then the used Garden Tractor I buy now will be in need of rebuilding. :D So I'll have all I need. - Honey it's time to get a new Garden Tractor - I like the way I think.

BTW - This week I had to drive 1000km to pick up a rare Corvair engine, one that was made only for; trucks, vans and the wagon from 61 to 65. It was free just my time and gas. And it is always nice to meet someone face to face that shares in the same hobby as you.

I left at 4:50am and on the way there I saw some tractor dealers - Case and others.
On the way home I stopped by them. I got home just before 5pm = long day and lots of behind the wheel time.

For any CASE/INGERSOLL Garden tractor owners; I posted a thread in LAWN & GARDEN CASE/INGERSOLL - to get some more help before I comit.

The link is: I'm Leaning towards Case/Ingersoll but need help!!

IF you have owned one PLEASE read that thread and help me out.

Many Thanks,

Yar! I've been corrected. Go ahead and put the link back if needed.

Corvairguy I see you have a corvair or two. My dad has a corvair or two or twenty. Yes he's a corvair nut. He's got some neat stuff. I'm sure he would be interested in talking with you. Good luck on the build.

I am currently rebuilding an Allis Chalmers B tractor for my garden. The B tractor can have the rear rims moved inside the rear hubs so with 9.5 x 24 tires the tractor is only 48" wide. I picked it up with a rebuilt motor for $500. I am turning the read drive hubs forward 90 degrees to shorten the wheel base and drop the tractor 8" closer to the ground. You may fill the rear tires with 17 gallons of ballast to make it even more stable. It came from the factory with a 125 ci engine that made 25 hp. Eventually what I will do when the engine fails is replace the torque tube between the transmission and the motor with a four speed truck transmission and repower it with a 30hp Yanmar diesel.

Where I am going with this is that there are a lot of old tractor rear ends out there that I think you could repower with a corvair. I bought a complete Allis Chalmers C rear end for spare parts for $150. The tractor models I am planning to use is the Allis Chalmers B/C/CA series and the International C/Super C/2XX line. These tractors, with no fluid in the tires, were roughly 2,000 lb. If you loaded the tires with fluid and added wheel weights you are up to 3000 lbs. They have a 540 PTO to driver implements and, if you get the right model, have full hydralics and 3 point hitches for a full range of implements.

Safety tip. If you are working with one of these old tractor build a roll cage and install a seat belt. I have had my youngest brother flip one over backwards and walk away from it but he could have easily been crushed and killed.
