Deutz 5220 will not start

No owners manual, As per my post all air is out of the system. I'm getting all fuel, no air to the pump, when I crack the injection lines I get all fuel ( what little there is ) no air to the injectors. To get at the injection lines one needs to take off the intake hose so it's getting all the clean fresh air it could want.

I've never seen an injection pump put out such a miniscule amount of fuel and pressure but this is also the first MS142 I've worked on.

This is a all mechanical fuel system, so no lift pump.

If you remove the filter outlet line, do you get a gush of fuel-like a cow peein' on a flat rock? You should.

The top of the mechanical fuel pump mounted on the side of the engine block near the injection pump is a filter screen.

That filter screen is the number one cause for fuel starvation issues on a deutz engine.

Remove that bolt on the top of the mechanical fuel pump and the top will come off.

Those air cooled deutz engines are pretty bullet proof and very rarely do they have injection pump issues.

Another thing to check is the banjo fittings. They can clog with gunk internally. It's usually the intake side of the filter or intake to the mechanical fuel pump.

With running the tractor out of fuel, you probably just sucked some gunk into the fuel system.

The 5220 is Japanese. It has nothing Deutz or air cooled about it. Are you aware of that?

Exactly. It was made by Hinomoto and it has a Toyosha water cooled engine.
