DF new tractor DF254G2 with Shuttle and Synchromesh

Hello, I live in Norway, have ordered a new 254 G2 by an importer in Denmark. Will receive it in three weeks. The tank is behind seat cause of shuttle drive case and hanging clutch /break, no space for tank on usual place. You get AG tires, turf or industrial (R4). I ordered R4. Look forward to receiving it.

Hello John; I find it difficult to find all specifications, so I really don't know, my guess is around 25 liters. I wasn't aware of the tank location before I ordered it, hadn't even seen a proper picture of it. The one presented in this thread is the best picture ever. I'm happy it looks so nice. I have had trouble finding engine specifications, i believe the brand ic Changchai or chancay XN 2100/385 direct injection EPA / CE approved.

When I sat on this tractor in China, I had no problem seeing the 3 point, I'm about 5'9" tall, the tank is not too high. forward visibility is much improved by the lower hood and curved nose. The engine is Changchai but not the sizes you mention. a 2100 would be a 2 cylinder 100mm bore and a 385 is a 3 cylinder 85mm bore. Yours will have a 390 engine. It is the same engine as used in the 25 and 30HP tractor with slightly different tuning. This will be a very strong 25HP tractor with its large displacement engine. And with direct injection, you will find it starts almost instantly in all but the coldest of weather.

Thanks for interesting info; Will I have to do the procedure with adjusting valve lash, tightening top bolts, adjusting clutch, changing fluids etc with this brand too?

Hi All,,

Just as an added point, Jinma's are now also available with R4 tyres. I brought in a bunch of 284's with R4's in my last load. Very nice..
