Diagnostic Tool

I would like to pick up the Garuda tool (same thing the dealer uses) but can't find if it is for sale. Any dealers want to chime in ? :confused2:

This should be interesting. Everything we have is software, not hardware dependent. It’s my understanding, So far Mahindra hasn’t made that available to the public. The same goes for the “real” shop manuals- you can download the Mahindra app but can’t get the username and password to unlock it.

The thing with the Garuda tool is that it is relatively cheap at around $700. I like that its used with a PC than a tablet. The Fuel injection and computer is all Bosch so I'm sure Bosch makes a dealer-level diagnostic tablet for it. I just don't know which one and I'm sure it would cost many dollars.

Mahindra will never release the Garuda for public use as it has the ability to flash the ECU. With that said any decent OBDII Scan tool can read the codes, clear codes, and give generic information about the P Codes. I hear many people have good luck with the ELM 327 bluetooth and the Torque Pro App.

I'm interested in dealer-level read only data. Flashing is a non-issue. It is the software that is not available to the public.
