Eric,
Diamond plate is OK and looks nice, but moisture can get under it and with these types of vehicles it could cause rusting of the floorpan. Mats are not much better as they can get grit under them and do the same thing. I had a diesel Gator which my dealer really slickly modified last year. I have since sold the machine, but we diamond plated the cargo box rails, which looked good, and did the spray on liner for the floopan area and cargo box itself. It really looked nice and was very tough. No rust there. As for price, it really was not too bad. He has gotten an XUV Gator which he would like for me to purchase (twist my arm). He is spraying the bed and floorpan on this machine also. Is really convenient, just hose it out when you need to. It is grippy, looks sharp when done correctly and is really not that expensive. Just something to contemplate.
