Just see if there's any reason the clutch went out in that # of hours - should last 2-3 times that. Maybe pedal adjusted wrong, poor operator, etc. Just so you have an idea before the split. Good luck - you're right, not too tough a job once you're in there.

the clutch but didn't replace the bearing while he was at it. dummy!
where in w. mass are you? finished high school at northampton.
